Calgary’s Heritage Park is a live portrayal of how life was for the Canadian communities that lived in Western Canada in 1800’s. It features authentic 18th century buildings that are manned by people in their 18th century fashion wardrobe.

Those who get high on high rides will definitely enjoy the antique but still functional Ferris wheel as well as other amusement rides.
If you really want to have a glimpse of genuine 18th century stuff then you have to visit the Park during August for the Old Time Fall Fair. The Fair features anything that has been grown or existed prior to 1914 or more particularly the during the1800’s.
The Heritage Park is a perfect example of a preserved culture showing genuine architecture as far back as the 1800’s. This is really a whole community of 18th century dwellers as depicted in the farm, kitchen and even to the schools settings.
